The Scorpions Volleyball Club is winding down it's 15th Season of beach volleyball in Cambridge and Ayr. This year they expanded their youth programs to meet demand and added adult volleyball in Cambridge. We have made a youtube video showing some our participants. Here is the LINK to it. Their Ayr program continues to grow rapidly. Here are some facts:
Paul Langan, Beach Program Coordinator states, " We are fortunate to have fantastic coaches that enable us to deliver so many quality developmental and competitive beach programs and tournaments. I never could have imagined 15 years ago, that we would grow to be one the largest youth beach programs in Canada." The Scorpions club still hosting three more tournaments to wrap up the season. August 2nd - Grades 3,4,5,6 - Inner Club Tournament - LINK August 9th - Competitive 4s Invitational Championship Tournament LINK August 15h - Family Tournament - Open to Any Families in Ontario. The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club put on an invitational beach volleyball tournament at Emerald Lake this past weekend. Here are the medalists. Senior Girls Gold Medal - Meara & Kiah Silver Medal - Marissa & Brooklyn Senior Boys Gold - Keelan & Liam Silver - Alessio & Austin 16u Girls Gold - Mati & Lilia Silver - Olivia & Shyanne 15u Girls Gold - Ava & Maple Silver - Megan & Olivia 14u Girls Gold - Ava & Manuela Silver - Kamryn & Emma Gold - Alivia & Scarlett Silver - Emma & Kate Due to poor air quality we are cancelling Saturday July 18th Grade 3,4,5,6 tournament at Emerald Lake and rescheduling to Sunday August. 2nd.
