Over 500 Attend Beach Tournament for Scorpions Beach Volleyball Players

On June 23rd, at Emerald Lake, the largest youth beach volleyball tournament in the Waterloo Region and Wellington County was held. The Scorpions Volleyball Club held their annual tournament for players in their beach volleyball developmental program.
Over 500 players from Grades 4-12 attended the tournament which lasted from 8am til 8pm. The dire weather predictions proved to be false and it was a beautiful day for the event.
The Scorpions youth beach volleyball program is one of the oldest in Ontario starting in 2010 with 12 players. They now have over 550 registered in their developmental programs.
