1/25/2026 1 Comment Scorpions Volleyball Club Announce Registration for 2026 Developmental Beach Program Begins 01/27/2026The Scorpions Beach Volleyball Club is celebrating its 15th year of providing beach volleyball to the youth in the Waterloo Region and surrounding area.
They have one of the largest and most diverse youth beach volleyball programming in Canada. It consists of
For ADULTS they also run an Adult Recreational beach volleyball program in Ayr and a $3,000 Prize Adult Tournament also. Paul Langan, Scorpions Beach Program Coordinator states, “15 years ago when we started youth beach volleyball in Ontario, no indoor clubs offered beach volleyball. We have broken down barriers to make youth beach volleyball accessible to all by having such diverse programming open to the public. We also have invested in our communities building sand courts at Shade’s Mill Conservation Area, North Dumfries Community Complex. I am extremely proud of what we have done in our community.” On January 27th, 2026 registration for the 1st component of our 2026 beach program begins. It is our Developmental Beach Program in Cambridge and Ayr, Ontario for youth Grades 3-12. The Development program consists of a 9-week program, an end of season tournament. Each participant gets a T-shirt. Cost is $125. The programs are held at Shade’s Mills Conservation Area, Riverside Park in Cambridge and North Dumfries Community Complex in Ayr. Here is the CAMBRIDGE LINK and AYR LINK to register. Registration for our Adult recreational beach program in Ayr, which figures weekly round robin games, also starts January 27th, 2026. It is 10 weeks for $80, or $460 for a team of six. Here is the ADULT AYR Program to register.
