WireService.ca Press Release (01/30/2017) Cambridge, ON - The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club have expanded their youth beach program again in 2017. Here are the details of their summer House League and Learn to Play Scorpions Beach Volleyball Programs. The Scorpions Volleyball Club has now over400 youth registered in their summer beach volleyball programs. They are pleased to announce one of the largest and most diverse beach volleyball programs in Canada. With the exciting announcement of the building of beach volleyball courts at the Shade’s Mills Conservation Area in Cambridge the club is able to increase the capacity of youth that can register for their programs. The cost is $95.00. All registered players receive a tanktop and entrance into our giant club tournament to celebrate Canada’s 150th. The season runs from May 22nd to July 21st 2017. Paul Langan, founder of Scorpions Volleyball Club states, "We are so very proud to have one of the largest youth beach volleyball programs in Canada. With the addition of our new courts at Shade’s Mills Conservation Area we have provided for the future growth of youth beach volleyball in Cambridge. WireService.ca Press Release (01/24/2017) Cambridge, ON - The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club Inc. is one of the fastest growing volleyball clubs in Ontario. This year over 400 youth are anticipated to register in their outdoor beach volleyball programs. The City of Cambridge has no outdoor public beach volleyball courts to accommodate this growth. The club has been a recipient of a Canada150 grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation to help partially fund the building three beach volleyball courts at the Shade's Mills Conservation Area in Cambridge. The courts will feature Olympic grade volleyball sand. The courts will be built by C.O. Construction of Cambridge.
