The Scorpions Volleyball Club is proud to announce the 76 players who will be playing competitive beach duos volleyball this summer on the OVA and Scorpions Beach Tour.

The duos practice twice a week and are trained by our 6 Scorpions Beach Coaches. They are Janet Cobbs-Mulholland,Tom Podstawka, Kayla Ng, Vaughan McMillan, Tracy Liburd and Fiodar Kazhamiaka.

Paul Langan, Scorpions Founder states,``It is impressive to see this group photo and see how far the club has gone in promoting beach volleyball. This program, our house league beach program and summer camps will make for an exciting summer of 2016`.

The Scorpions will also be hosting 5 competitive beach tournaments this summer. 3 at Emerald Lake and 2 at Grand Bend Ontario. Emerald Lake is a fun tournament located in a water park while Grand Bend is one of the most beautiful beaches in Canada.

The original Scorpions beach duo Brooklyn Gallant and Katie Langan will return to play limited tournaments on the OVA Beach Tour Youth Open Division.

The duo still hold two scorpion records in competitive beach volleyball. Brooklyn plays indoor volleyball for the University of Waterloo while Katie studies at the University of Guelph and focuses on coaching. Katie returns to Madawaska Volleyball Camp  to help coach for her 4th summer.

Langan and Gallant have not announced yet what tournaments they will be playing in.

​The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club announce the dates of their 2016 Youth Beach Volleyball Tour.

WireService.ca Press Release (04/01/2016) Cambridge, ON - The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club are pleased to provide the details of the summer youth Beach Volleyball Tournaments they are hosting.

The Scorpions Volleyball Club has approximately four hundred youth involved in their summer beach programs. They have 30 competitive duos playing on the Ontario Volleyball Association Beach Tour.

The tournaments are for males and female ages 12 to 24. Complete tournament dates are below.

Parents and players tell us constantly how much fun our Emerald Lake tournament is with the waterpark.
