The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club announce the dates of their 2019 Youth Open Beach Volleyball Tournaments in Grand Bend and Emerald Lake, Ontario.

The Scorpions Volleyball Club is a non profit youth volleyball club, based out of Cambridge Ontario offering reasonably priced youth beach volleyball tournaments 2v2 format.

• Open to Any Youth in Canada and the USA

The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club is very proud to announce their 8th youth competitive beach volleyball season.

​The Scorpions offer a unique and affordable Competitive Beach Programs for females and males ages born ​2007-2001. The heart of the program is giving youth the skills to compete as competitive beach duos at our Scorpions Open Youth Beach Tournaments Competitive Division and other tournaments.

The Technical Director of Our Competitive Beach Program is Fiodar Kazhamiaka. Fiodar is currently a member of Canada's National Beach Team.

Paul Langan, club founder states," There is a lot of excitement building about our beach volleyball program this year. For the first time we will be hosting our own Scorpions Youth Open Beach Volleyball tournaments with Competitive and Recreational Division for the public to enter.  Having Canadian Beach Volleyball team member Fiodar Kazhamiaka oversee our program will ensure our coaches give the athletes excellent training."

Here are some salient points about the Scorpions Youth Competitive Beach Program:

• Program will run 2 days a week from May (weather permitting) to end of July. 
• For boys and girls Born 2007-2001
• Season starts in mid -May outside after the May Commit to Beach Sessions are done. 
• You and your partner pick what tournaments you go in. Those fees are not part of your club fee.
• We can try and help you find a partner if necessary.
• Price - $295. a person

The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club are proud to announce the return of National Beach Volleyball Team Member Fiodar Kazhamiaka as their Technical Advisor for their Competitive Beach Program.

Fiodar trains and competes internationally as a member of Canada's national beach volleyball team. Fiodar is also completing his PhD at the University of Waterloo. Fiodar seeks to model and develop intelligent algorithms to design and control cyber-physical systems.

Paul Langan, club founder states, " We understand Fiodar's commitment to the National Team and his responsibilities to represent Canada around the world. We are proud of  his accomplishments on and off the court. He will bring to the club  the latest in training and coaching strategies that can help our beach coaches deliver their training to our beach athletes."

The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club, Cambridge, Ontario is very proud to announce over the next week the details of their extensive 2019 spring and summer beach program.

The Scorpions beach volleyball program is one of the largest and diverse in Canada for boys and girls ages 8-18.

The Scorpions Giants, Level 1, Level 2 and High School Beach programs are the pillars of the club's beach program.

This year the program has changed the Level 2 (grade 7/8) will learn how to play competitive beach 2v2 volleyball in a group setting. This will give the players the basic skills to allow the duos to enter Scorpions Beach tournaments in the Recreational Division. Our High School Beach program participants will also have that option. Tournaments, locations , pricing and details are on our tournament page.

All programs are at the Beach Volleyball Courts at Shade's Mills Conservation Area. Here are the details of all the programs:

• ​Monday Night Scorpions Beach Level 1 - Born 2009 & 2008 & 2007 -  - Skills and Games - Born 2009 & 2008 - 6:10pm, Born 2007 - 7:25pm - $100.00 - Starts May 13th
• Wednesday Night - Scorpions Beach Level 2,  - Born 2006 - 6:00pm, Born 2005 - 7:30pm - $100.00 - Starts May 15th
• ​Thursday Night - Giant Scorpions Born 2010-11 - 6:15pm - $75.00 - Parents on the courts fun times for all - Starts May 16th,​
• Thursday Night - High School Beach Scorpions - Born 2004-2001 - 7:15pm - $100.00  Weekly games. - Starts May 16th, NEW: Option to participate in Scorpions Ontario Open Beach Youth Volleyball Tournaments.
  
• ALL players registered in our summer programs get FREE registration into Canada's largest 4v4 grass volleyball tournament. Held at Riverside Park in Cambridge June 29th, 2019. It is put on by the club.
