Scorpions Announce 2023 Competitive Beach Volleyball Tournaments

The Scorpions Volleyball Club is proud to announce their 11th season of hosting competitive beach volleyball tournaments.
They are open to all youth in Ontario. This year in addition to our usual 2 on 2 youth format tournaments, we will be hosting a 4 on 4 tournament on June 25th. We are anticipating this will be a popular format also.

Location is at the beautiful Emerald Lake Resort & Waterpark, just 15 minutes of Cambridge, ON. Surrounded by mature trees, next to the small lake, these 12 courts have been upgraded with Olympic quality sand. Here is a link to a short video of the courts. https://youtu.be/uvjegktwH3I

We have boys and girls 12u-18u divisions for our 2 on2 tournaments and also and additional mixed divisions for our 4 on 4 tournament. 

The confirmed dates for the tournament are:

• June 10th June 17th, June 24th,
• June 25th(4on4)
• July 8th, 22nd,29th(Emerald Lake Championships)

Emerald Lake has a flat $10.00 per car fee to enter the park before 9:00am for tournament participants. 

The cost for the 2 on 2 format tournament is $85. per duo. For the 4 on 4 format June 25th tournament the is $125. per foursome.

Paul Langan, Scorpions Beach Program Coordinator states, " The club has been putting on tournaments for over a decade. Our Emerald Lake Resort Waterpark sand courts is a family friendly location. It has become the quintessential location to host youth volleyball beach tournaments in Ontario. Adding in 4 on4 format tournaments for ages 12u-18u will make for an even better experience."
