 The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club is proud to announce they are expanding their summer camp programs.
_WireService.caPress Release (02/18/2016) Cambridge, ON - The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club are pleased to provide the details of their four camps they will be hosting this summer. The Scorpions Volleyball Club has over five hundred youth involved in their summer programs. This season they will be expanding their camps to add a Skills Camp July 18th-22nd, 2016. Paul Langan, founder of Scorpions Volleyball Club states, "We are very happy to be adding another camp this summer. We have two Olympic medallists and a 4x All American running our volleyball camps. These camps, along with our beach house league and competitive beach duos program, promises to make this a very exciting summer. " Here are the details of the four camps. 1. ALL BEACH SPORTS CAMP – JULY 4th – 8th 2016. Play volleyball, dodgeball and tennis all on the sand. Swimming is also part of the camp. This is a popular fun half day camp for boys and girls born 2006 -2000. Cost is $125. 2. BOYS INDOOR CAMP - JULY 11th – 15th, 2016 - This is the only boys volleyball camp in the Waterloo Region. It is a half day camp for those born 2006 – 2000. Cost is $125. The head coach is a former 4x All American and Canadian National Team Member Jason Mulholland 3. KIM ODEN ELITE CAMP - JULY 11th -15th, 2016 – This is a full day camp. The head coach is 2x Olympian and USA Team Captain Kim Oden. It is for girls that are currently playing competitive volleyball born 2002 – 1999. Cost is $250. 4. JANET COBBS SKILLS CAMP – JULY 18th -22nd, 2016 – Head Coach Olympic Bronze Medalist Janet Cobbs Mulholland will run this full day camp for girls born 2005-1999. Cost is $200.  Congrats - Scorpions Jenna Banz and Floridian Skylar Marie took second place took 2nd place today at the Endless Summer beach tour club event in California. They went 5-1 on the day. Banz and Marie will play again tomorrow in another tournament.
