A family member who tells you what it was like in their day? Well maybe it is time for them to get out of their beach chairs and get in the action.
Introducing our first Scorpions Family Beach tournament at Emerald Lake. We have something for every skill level, so we are hoping to see you there. Competitive Duos – This is for your experienced duos who aren’t afraid to dive in the sand. Recreational Duos – This may be a good fit for those who are less experienced but who just want to get in some exercise and have fun. Competitive 4’s – This is for experienced teams who believe the more the merrier. Two families can combine to make 1 team. Recreational 4s – This may be a good fit for those who are less experienced and who believe that diving in the sand is optional. Two families can combine to make 1 team. FAQ Who is eligible to play? Moms, Dads, Siblings, Aunts, Uncles & Cousins of all ages Can I play with a younger sibling? All division are coed with no age restrictions. We have a team of 6, can we still play together in the 4s Division? You can have more than 4 on a team however only 4 can be on the court at 1 time How do I know what division to pick? If you are playing with someone who is a former player or who is still playing in a league now you may want to select the competitive division. If you are playing with someone who just loves the game of volleyball or if the participants are younger, then recreational may be the way to go. A rain or shine event. It is $100. per team of 4. ( 4 on 4) or $50 per duo ( 2 on 2). Yes you can bring a barbeque, Check in 8:30am-9:00am Emerald Lake rules include: no dogs, no alcohol, drive slow through campground and obey railway crossing person. $10. fee per car for parking at Emerald Lake. Our Tuesday night beach program participants at Shade's Mill Conservation Area are having a great time. Head Coaches Jessica Li and Julia Blair are assisted by Lisa Stewart. The Scorpions Volleyball Club has 600 participating in their beach volleyball programs. On Sunday, June 18th, at Emerald Lake Waterpark and Trailer Park, 7248 Gore Road, Puslinch, ON. the Scorpions Volleyball Club will host a tournament. It will run from 8:30am to 6:30pm. Over 400 youth will attend.
It will be the largest beach volleyball tournament in the history of the Waterloo Region and Wellington County. It will feature youth from the Scorpions Development Program at Shade's Mills in Cambridge and their Ayr programs. Due to the size of the tournament it has been broken down into mini-tournaments by age. Here is the schedule for Sunday at Emerald Lake.
