Scorpions Announce 2019 Competitive Beach Program

The Scorpions Youth Volleyball Club is very proud to announce their 8th youth competitive beach volleyball season.

​The Scorpions offer a unique and affordable Competitive Beach Programs for females and males ages born ​2007-2001. The heart of the program is giving youth the skills to compete as competitive beach duos at our Scorpions Open Youth Beach Tournaments Competitive Division and other tournaments.

The Technical Director of Our Competitive Beach Program is Fiodar Kazhamiaka. Fiodar is currently a member of Canada's National Beach Team.

Paul Langan, club founder states," There is a lot of excitement building about our beach volleyball program this year. For the first time we will be hosting our own Scorpions Youth Open Beach Volleyball tournaments with Competitive and Recreational Division for the public to enter.  Having Canadian Beach Volleyball team member Fiodar Kazhamiaka oversee our program will ensure our coaches give the athletes excellent training."

Here are some salient points about the Scorpions Youth Competitive Beach Program:
  • Program will run 2 days a week from May (weather permitting) to end of July. 
  • For boys and girls Born 2007-2001
  • Season starts in mid -May outside after the May Commit to Beach Sessions are done. 
  • You and your partner pick what tournaments you go in. Those fees are not part of your club fee.
  • We can try and help you find a partner if necessary.
  • Price - $295. a person 
  • SCHEDULE - Junior Competitive Beach - ​Tuesday Nights  Shade's Mills Conservation Area and Wednesday  Nights  Location in Cambridge TBD
  • SCHEDULE - Senior Competitive Beach - 14U and Up - Tuesday  and Thursday Nights - Location in Cambridge TBD
