Scorpions to host largest youth beach volleyball tournament in the history of the Waterloo Region and Wellington County

June 16th, 2023... On Sunday, June 18th, at Emerald Lake Waterpark and Trailer Park, 7248 Gore Road, Puslinch, ON. the Scorpions Volleyball Club will host a tournament. It will run from 8:30am to 6:30pm. Over 400 youth will attend.

It will be the largest beach volleyball tournament in the history of the Waterloo Region and Wellington County. It will feature youth from the Scorpions Development Program at Shade's Mills in Cambridge and their Ayr programs.

Due to the size of the tournament it has been broken down into mini-tournaments by age. Here is the schedule for Sunday at Emerald Lake.

• Grade 4/5/6 -9:00am - 11:30am 
• Grade 7, Grade 8 - 1:00pm - 3:00pm
• High School - 4:30pm - 6:30pm

With a total enrolment of over 600 in the Scorpions beach program it is one of the largest in Ontario.
