Scorpions Beach Duos in 11 Medals in 4 Cities

​Scorpions Invade Ontario!. The Scorpions Youth Competitive Beach Volleyball Program players won 11 medals in 4 different Ontario cities this past weekend.

WIRESERVICE.CA....2018-07-24..... The Scorpions competitive beach duos program in Cambridge Ontario won an impressive 11 medals in 4 different cities playing in beach volleyball tournaments.
The Scorpions Beach Volleyball Program consists of:

• Boys and girls ages 11-18:
• 200 athletes in their Learn to Play and Summer League programs 
• 40 competitive beach duos playing on the beach tour in Ontario. 

​On July 21st and 22nd competitive duos played tournaments in Grand Bend, Cobourg, Ashbridge's Bay Toronto and Hamilton. The came away with a club breaking record of 11 medals in those cities. Here are results.

• Abby Wilson and Alanna Raymond - Silver - 14u Premier in Hamilton
• Allison Douglas - Gold - 16U Premier - Hamilton

SUNDAY - July 22nd, 2018

• Charlotte Spencer and Avery Astorino - Silver - 13u Premier - Grand Bend
• Morgan Pollon and Lara Prosser - Silver - 13U Championship - Grand Bend
• Rachel Morell and Jenna Elises - Silver - 15U Premier - Grand Bend
• Ivory Noble and Gemma Piraino - Silver - 15U Premier - Hamilton 

Paul Langan, founder of Scorpions Volleyball Club states, "I am so proud of all our competitive beach duos that played this past weekend. The weather in Grand Bend on Sunday was heavy rain and winds all day. It was amazing to see the Scorpions win medals at the end of the day. This has proven to be another record breaking year for our competitive beach program."
